Hello and welcome to my site!

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child. I have been teaching for many years and in many different states. My husband was a Navy Submarine Officer for 13 years so our family moved around quite a bit. I have two children, both boys, who have graduated through Dublin schools. I have taught in Pennsylvania, Michigan, California and Ohio. I am certified in Elementary Education and I have a 4-5 endorsement. I recently received my Reading Endorsement from Otterbein University for K-12 grades. I am currently working on my Dyslexia Practitioner Level 1 training from the International Multisensory Language Education Council (IMSLEC) through the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Columbus. I hope to have my level 1 training complete by May of 2025 and I plan to continue my training to reach Mentor status.

Over the years I have worked as a Title I reading and math tutor and helped many students pass the 3rd Grade Reading Guarantee. I have used many different programs over the years including Phonics 95 percent, Wilson Reading and UFLI. I have the knowledge and the resources to help your student become a skilled reader.
